* Parties
The Hoene Springs subdivision holds several events each year. Traditions include a fall Halloween party and spring Easter party, both in Winnifred Park. We also hold an annual dinner meeting of all residents to elect officers and make decisions regarding roads and other projects and/or problems. It is a great way to get to know your neighbors, and enhance our sense of community.

Winifred Section Paved October 27, 2008

Krupp's Paving was awarded the bid for paving the lower Hoene Springs area, including Winifred Drive and roads coming into it. Paving took place October 27 , 2008.

The upper Hoene Springs area will be paved in a few years, as decided at the annual meeting, since it is too expensive to pave the entire subdivision at once.

Watertower or UFO?

This picture was taken last fall by Paul Konopacki of Eureka, who was driving along Highway W. "I happened to be driving to House Springs with my camera in the car and decided I better take advantage of the scene. A minute later the fog lifted and the 'illusion' was gone," Paul said. Thanks, Paul!
