2011 Annual Meeting Held August 22

The annual dinner meeting of all Hoene Springs residents was held August 22 at the Elks Lodge in Eureka. Discussions included subdivision finances, future updates to the road, election of new officers, and committee reports. The subdivision is in need for additional people to fulfill board positions and to assist on committees. Contact a trustee if you are interested. Check back soon for complete meeting minutes.

Fire Department Resumes Burning OK

Our Eureka Fire Department had a "no burning" order on until September 15, except for small recreational fires. You can now have reasonable fires in your yard without contacting them first.

Annual Spring Easter Party

Last Spring's party, held April 17, was a terrific success, with about 20 kids in attendance. Thanks especially to Anne Consolino, and to all who helped! View photos of the 2011 Easter Party here. Residents had a great time, as kids hunted for eggs, met the Easter Bunny, and enjoyed treats and prizes.
